The following are key points from the data in the tables and graphs found on the “Data” tab. The “Sources and Notes” tab provides additional information about the data.

  • The price of homes sold (new and existing) in central Ohio rose by 24.8% between 1999 and 2005, with increases every year during this period. From 2005 to 2007, home prices declined by 6.7%.
  • In 2008, there were 8,426 1-3 unit properties sold in Franklin County. Of these units, 19.6% sold at $250,000 and above and another 71.2% sold between $62,500 and $249,999. 10% of units sold under $62,500.
